Welcome to my 2026 COLORADO MIDTERM MARATHON ballot guide! Is this the longest ballot in Colorado history?! Why yes friends, yes it is. Due to length, I have kept the witty banter to a minimum in order to get you the information needed and not lose you half way through!

To kick us off, a few rules of engagement:

  1. I am not a non-partisan human (are double negatives confusing? Perhaps I should say I AM a partisan human?) but I do believe in voting for the best candidate / ballot measure position TO YOU which means I will have recommendations on who the best candidate / ballot measure position is TO ME.
    1. In this ✨unprecedented✨ year of 2026, I feel the need to state that this guide and everything in it was written by me and not AI. I will cite other guides or sources and will make it known when I have done so.
  2. I will give reasons for why I think what I think however know that they are not exhaustive.
  3. If you have any specific questions, I am happy to discuss ALWAYS through the lens of positive intent for a conversation.
  4. Use the dropdown arrows throughout the sections to expand them and see all information
  5. At the bottom of the guide and throughout the specific sections, you will find me linking sources and other ballot guides that have helped inform my thoughts.

More than anything else, I want you to VOTE. I want you to encourage everyone that can vote in your household to vote. I want you to fill out your at home ballots with all your friends.

Democracy is a fragile system and it takes all of us to keep it functioning.
